Senior Audit Innovation and Enablement Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for a Senior Audit Innovation and Enablement Lead to join Monzo, a company on a mission to make money work for everyone. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you'll have the freedom to redefine how assurance is delivered at scale, by building products that power continuous and intelligent assurance. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this highly cross-functional role, you'll champion a product owner mindset across the Internal Audit function, driving a culture of innovation and helping to translate creative concepts into practical solutions. You'll work closely with the Head of Professional Practices, Senior Audit Transformation Lead and the audit team to identify opportunities for innovation, define the product roadmap, and design data-driven test strategies. You'll be responsible for building, deploying and maintaining scalable AI and automation solutions, fostering a data-led understanding of risk through data science, and establishing robust monitoring controls over key datasets. You'll also stay at the forefront of emerging technology trends, collaborate with other parts of Monzo, and train and upskill the Internal Audit function on using data and AI solutions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong technical foundation in data science and analytics engineering, with experience working with modern technology stacks. You'll think like a product owner, influencing without authority, and have a track record of driving technology adoption. You'll also be a natural translator and collaborator, able to bridge the gap between data science and business risk. WHY REMOTE This role can be based in our London office, but we're open to distributed working within the UK. We offer flexible working hours, trusting you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team.
