Senior Analyst, Regulatory Operations

ABOUT THE ROLE We're Oscar, a health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We're hiring a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Operations to join our Regulatory team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for project managing and supporting discrete tasks to ensure Oscar is compliant with federal and state product filing requirements. You'll work with internal teams and interface with external regulators. WHAT YOU'LL DO You'll manage the preparation and filing of Oscar's commercial insurance products through the annual Form & Binder Filings for assigned states and regions. You'll also develop processes for internal tracking and monitoring annual and ad hoc filings with diverse teams. Additionally, you'll build and support successful relationships with regulatory bodies, including state insurance regulators and federal insurance regulators. You'll serve as a subject matter expert on assigned states and contribute to the development of a repository of internal procedural guides on annual filing obligations. You'll track and share filing objections received and guide overall resolution with impacted teams. You'll develop sustainable processes that simplify our growing team's outputs while ensuring high-quality deliverables. You'll also ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience. You'll also need 1+ years of SERFF and HIOS experience, as well as demonstrated project management skills. Familiarity with ACA marketplace plans, rules, and regulations is a plus. WHY REMOTE This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. You'll be fully remote, but our approach to work may adapt over time. The base pay for this role varies by location, with a range of $34.39 - $50.16 per hour.
