Senior Analyst, Regulatory Licensing

ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Analyst, Regulatory Licensing is a critical member of the Corporate Legal team at Oscar, responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with federal and state certificate of authority and product filing requirements. This role involves project managing and supporting discrete tasks to guarantee Oscar's regulatory compliance. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Licensing, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and filing of Oscar's certificates of authority through routine filings for assigned states and regions. You will serve as an advisor to cross-functional teams, develop sustainable processes for internal tracking and monitoring annual and ad hoc filings, and maintain a repository of previously received objections to decrease year-over-year objection totals. You will also track and communicate filing objections received, guide overall resolution together with impacted teams, and contribute to the development of a repository of internal procedural guides on annual filing obligations. Additionally, you will build and support successful relationships with regulatory bodies, including state insurance regulators, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 2+ years of licensing experience in the health plan/managed care space, 1+ year of experience designing and improving workflows, and a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of commensurate experience. You will also need demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work independently. WHY REMOTE This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. While the position is fully remote, Oscar's approach to work may adapt over time, potentially involving a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with your metro area.
