Senior Analyst, Global Expansion Strategy

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic roadmap for Lyft's global growth, focusing on expanding Lyft beyond North American rideshare's core products. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Analyst on the Global Growth team, you will leverage data and rigorous analytical thinking to drive business decisions and product enhancements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing rigorous product deep dives to identify opportunities for growth and improvement - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a unified Lyft presence internationally and enable Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) domestically and abroad - Developing a strategic vision for Lyft's global expansion, including sizing the opportunity, scoping unique products required, and liaising with central marketplace teams - Addressing complex business problems, such as global expansion's impact on current North American rideshare users, competitive landscape in future geographies, and product developments needed for successful expansion WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will require: - 6+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic data science/analytics roles in a technology company, or an equivalent analytical role in a high growth startup - Experience leading high-visibility projects and influencing others in a cross-functional team environment - Strong business acumen, marketplace dynamics, and strategic understanding of regulatory landscapes - Ability to independently break down large datasets, synthesize inputs from multiple sources, and draw actionable conclusions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations across teams and levels - Proficiency in SQL and strong analytical and problem-solving skills WHY REMOTE This role will be based in-office on a hybrid schedule, with a requirement to work in the office at least 3 days per week, including Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
