ABOUT THE ROLE Subway is looking for a dedicated Sandwich Artist to join our team and help deliver the brand’s signature fresh, made‑to‑order sandwiches to customers every day. In this role you will be the face of the store, ensuring that every sandwich, salad and beverage meets our high standards of quality and customer service. You will work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, balancing order accuracy with speed while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming shop. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads and other menu items according to Subway’s standard procedures, ensuring consistent taste and presentation. You will greet customers, take orders, handle cash and card transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory. You will keep the work area clean and organized, following food safety guidelines and hygiene practices at all times. You will collaborate with teammates to manage peak‑hour traffic, support training of new staff, and contribute to a positive store culture. You will also help with stock rotation, restocking supplies, and reporting any equipment issues to management. You will represent Subway’s brand values in every interaction, delivering friendly, efficient service that exceeds customer expectations. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You have at least one year of experience in a food service or retail environment, preferably in a sandwich shop or fast‑food setting. You possess strong communication skills in English and can speak clearly with customers and teammates. You are comfortable working a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime. You demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining a positive attitude. You are physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. You have a basic understanding of food safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
