Sales Development Representative II, Emerging - Instacart Business

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Development Representative II to join Instacart Business, a rapidly growing segment focused on delivering fast, reliable delivery of food, office essentials, and last-mile supplies to teams. As an SDR II, you will own full-cycle sales in the emerging-market segment, directly shaping how Instacart Business grows and expands into new markets. WHAT YOU'LL DO In your first year, you will be responsible for building a healthy, self-sourced pipeline of emerging-market logos through consistent daily outbound touches and 3x+ pipeline coverage. You will also be expected to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quota by closing net-new revenue in the emerging segment. Additionally, you will develop repeatable, tested playbooks for prospecting and closing in the emerging segment, including refined ICPs, A/B-tested sequences, and conversion benchmarks that the broader team can build on. You will also partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations, to bring the voice of your customers into roadmap conversations, pilots, and packaging decisions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in B2B sales, with a focus on outbound prospecting and new logo acquisition. You should have at least 2 years of experience in SDR, BDR, or AE roles, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in recent roles. You should also be proficient in Salesforce CRM and at least one sequencing tool, such as Outreach or Salesloft, as well as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar data enrichment tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential, with the ability to tailor messaging to multiple personas.
