Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, Safety Evaluations

As a key member of our Safeguards team, you will play a vital role in enforcing our policies, protecting users, and preventing misuse of our platform. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst focused on Safety Evaluations, you will be responsible for ensuring our models meet safety and policy standards before and after launch. Your key responsibilities will include running and monitoring evaluations, driving mitigations when issues surface, coordinating the creation of new evals, and helping build processes and documentation to enable the team to scale this work over time. You will partner closely with policy experts, Safeguards engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and current evaluations, and that findings translate into meaningful improvements to model behavior. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to be detail-oriented, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and capable of coordinating across teams to drive work to completion. You will thrive in a fast-moving environment and be energized by the opportunity to figure out complex problems as you go. You will have experience building processes, workflows, or programs from scratch, and have strong program management instincts to create structure around complex, multi-stakeholder efforts. BENEFITS The annual compensation range for this role is $230,000 - $270,000 USD. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including a minimum education requirement of a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. A field relevant to the role is required, as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience. The minimum years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position.
