ABOUT THE ROLE Anthropic is a rapidly growing organization dedicated to creating reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst on the account abuse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our products, with a focus on detecting and mitigating potential harm. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the owner of fraud & scams enforcement, you will be responsible for defining the policy area, building the detection-to-enforcement pipeline, and setting the operating model that a contractor bench can execute against. This will involve investigating and dismantling organized abuse rings, standing up proactive fraud detection and customer-facing communication flows, and building the dispute and chargeback strategy in partnership with payments and card-network partners. You will also be responsible for quantifying fraud losses and control efficacy to drive investment decisions, authoring the contractor playbook for fraud review, and owning QA of scaled output. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have deep payment-fraud experience at a fintech, marketplace, or platform, as well as experience building or significantly scaling a fraud program from an early state. You will also need a working command of payment-network and dispute mechanics, as well as strong written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members while navigating rapidly evolving priorities and workstreams. WHY REMOTE This role is a remote opportunity, and you will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be part of a distributed team that values collaboration and open communication. BENEFITS Anthropic offers a competitive annual salary range of $245,000 - $285,000 USD, as well as a minimum education requirement of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. We also offer visa sponsorship and a flexible work environment that allows for a minimum of 25% remote work.
