ABOUT THE ROLE
The Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, Account Takeover & Credential Abuse role at Anthropic is a critical position that focuses on building and executing enforcement workflows to keep Anthropic's products safe. As a key member of the account abuse team, you will be responsible for detecting and mitigating potential harm, with an initial focus on account compromise.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, you will investigate credential-compromise incidents across first-party and third-party platforms, tracing actor behavior across accounts and surfaces. You will design and operate remediation workflows for compromised accounts, including revocation, customer notification, and standards for restoring access. You will also partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to improve how Anthropic separates compromised-customer traffic from willful abuse. Additionally, you will enforce usage policies with a focus on detecting and mitigating potentially harmful use of AI systems.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in trust and safety, fraud investigation, security operations, or a related field. You should have subject matter expertise in one or more areas, such as account takeover, credential abuse, session security, or incident response. You will also need experience designing or operating enforcement, remediation, or customer-recovery flows, as well as comfort using data to trace actor behavior and measure the effectiveness of enforcement workflows.

BENEFITS
Anthropic offers a competitive annual salary range of $245,000 to $285,000 USD, as well as a minimum education requirement of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
