ABOUT THE ROLE The Residential Technician at The Abaco Club plays a pivotal role in preserving the pristine quality of our members’ homes and club facilities. You will be the guardian of comfort and safety, ensuring that every residence and common area meets the highest standards of maintenance and aesthetics. Working closely with the Homeowner Services Manager, Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Reservations teams, you will conduct thorough inspections, execute preventive maintenance, and resolve any issues that arise before guests arrive. Your work directly supports the club’s promise of an effortless, luxurious experience for our members and their families, reinforcing The Abaco Club’s reputation as a premier destination for relaxation and recreation. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will coordinate with the Homeowner Services Manager and Assistant Manager to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks across all club properties. You will perform detailed pre‑arrival inspections, checking HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems to guarantee readiness for guests. You will carry out monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance services, including appliance servicing, pool equipment upkeep, and minor repairs. You will document all work in the club’s maintenance app, recording materials used and time spent. You will assist with the installation and setup of new homes, ensuring seamless integration of all systems. You will support the maintenance of club outlets, golf carts, and other shared assets, and you will collaborate with housekeeping and front desk staff to address any resident or guest concerns promptly. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You bring at least two years of experience in residential or hospitality maintenance, with a proven track record of executing preventive care and troubleshooting. You possess strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records. You are physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds for extended periods. You are self‑motivated, able to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor and positive attitude. You communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, guests, and colleagues, and you adhere to standard maintenance policies and procedures. You are flexible, willing to work weekends and holidays as needed, and you thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
