Reporting and Controls Lead, Data Center Capacity Delivery

ABOUT THE ROLE Anthropic is building the next generation of safe, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. Our Data Center Capacity Delivery team is responsible for turning the company’s ambitious AI training and deployment plans into reality by rapidly delivering new data center sites. As the Reporting and Controls Lead, you will be the single source of truth for the status and health of every active and upcoming delivery project. Your work will enable senior delivery managers, regional leaders, and executives to make informed decisions and keep the organization on track to meet its capacity milestones. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will own consolidated milestone tracking for all projects, ensuring early floor access, floor access, and ready‑for‑service dates are accurate and up‑to‑date. You will validate schedule and status data from developers, general contractors, and third‑party partners, chasing down and correcting any discrepancies at the source. You will maintain portfolio‑level capacity projections and variance to plan, and you will build and maintain executive‑ready reporting for delivery reviews. You will define data standards and integrated‑schedule conventions in partnership with the Program Management Lead, and you will automate reporting and data‑quality checks wherever possible, including leveraging AI‑assisted tools. Finally, you will translate complex project data into clear, concise charts and written summaries for both technical teams and executive audiences. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You bring at least seven years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or program reporting on large capital construction programs such as data centers, energy facilities, or industrial sites. You have a proven track record of running consolidated reporting across multi‑project portfolios, not just single jobs. You are fluent in Primavera P6, Excel, and Power BI or comparable scheduling, spreadsheet, and BI tools. Your communication style is clear and data‑driven, enabling you to present insights to both technical stakeholders and senior leaders. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment where you build processes while simultaneously executing them. Experience in hyperscaler or colocation program controls, owner‑side cost controls, earned‑value reporting, or AI‑assisted planning tool development is a strong advantage.
