ABOUT THE ROLE Oscar, a pioneering health insurance company, is seeking a Provider Network Associate to join its Contracting team. As the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving its members, Oscar aims to create a healthcare experience that is personalized, intuitive, and accessible. The Provider Network Associate plays a critical role in supporting the overall accessibility, availability, and quality of Oscar's Provider Network. This role will work closely with internal partners and external provider partners to meet market growth, network quality, and medical costs targets. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Provider Network Associate, you will be responsible for executing specific network development functions to support the provider recruitment, engagement, and education function within the Network Management pillar of Oscar's Insurance Operation function. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leveraging demographic data to target recruiting for network adequacy needs based on geography, specialty, or member demographics - Deploying recruiting activities in defined expansion regions based on population demographics, healthcare needs, and competitor presence - Assessing potential provider capabilities, workflows, and staffing to ensure ability to adhere to access standards and meet quality of care requirements - Developing targeted outreach strategies to attract high-quality providers in desired specialties and locations - Performing daily outreach and contact with potential providers through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to present the benefits of joining the network - Documenting provider outreach activities and managing provider data in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system - Pitching the network to prospective providers and guiding new providers through the process of joining the network - Participating in process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and enhance provider experience - Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of relevant experience - 3+ years of experience in provider healthcare recruiting and contracting - 1+ year of experience in provider relations, provider services, or provider recruiting, and working cross-functionally to drive growth and expansion in one or more geographical areas WHY REMOTE This is a remote position based in the field, open to candidates who reside in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas. Your daily work will involve a blend of work from your home office and frequent travel for client meetings, with a travel requirement of up to 75%. BENEFITS Oscar offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay of $87,188 - $114,434 per year, as well as eligibility for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.
