Program Manager, Intake & Portfolio Management

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the People Operations Intake & Portfolio team at Stripe. As a critical member of our People Strategy & Enablement team, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between strategy and impact. Your mission will be to create clarity and momentum for People initiatives, partnering cross-functionally to design and run scalable programs and products that improve decisions, reduce friction, and support sustainable growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will own and operate the POI intake process end-to-end, managing the Jira-based intake system and ensuring all incoming requests are triaged promptly, routed correctly, and tracked through their full lifecycle from submission to delivery. You will serve as the primary intake partner for People team requestors, facilitating regular intake and portfolio cadences, and applying strategic judgment to prioritize the POI portfolio. Additionally, you will build and maintain portfolio visibility and capacity reporting, and design, build, and continuously improve an AI agent for intake. You will also partner with POI leaders and People team leaders on resourcing and prioritization conversations, preparing and presenting portfolio data and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Your work will be critical in identifying systemic patterns and surfacing insights to leadership, synthesizing trends across intake submissions to proactively flag capacity constraints, recurring themes, capability gaps, and emerging risks before they become blockers. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 7+ years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or a related field. You should have a strong understanding of project management principles, business operations, and strategy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Jira and AI/ML is highly desirable.
