Product Marketing Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE The Product Marketing Lead will play a critical role in shaping the market intelligence and product strategy for individual product Collectives at Monzo. This is a player/coach position that requires influencing what gets built as much as how it's communicated. The successful candidate will own Product Marketing for a Collective, understanding customers, shaping product strategy, defining positioning, and guiding how launches land in the market. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Product Marketing Lead, you will set the market intelligence agenda, deciding what Monzo needs to understand about its customers, competitors, and the market. You will identify and size opportunities, and build the frameworks other teams use to prioritise and respond. You will shape what gets built by using market intelligence to drive commercial outcomes through product differentiation, sitting alongside Product leadership. Additionally, you will define positioning that moves the business, ensuring every product starts with a customer problem, differentiated positioning, and a proposition worth talking about. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will have experience in product marketing, with a strong understanding of market intelligence, product strategy, and positioning. You will be able to own a one-year product marketing strategy for a complex, multi-product Collective, working to define how Monzo wins in multiple categories with multiple products over time. You will be a strategic thinker, able to influence what gets built and how it's communicated, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. BENEFITS The salary for this role is £100,000 - £133,000, plus benefits.
