Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our small, early-stage fintech environment. As a Product Manager, you will work closely with our CTO, engineering team, and business stakeholders to turn business ideas into clear product requirements, user flows, wireframes, and executable delivery plans. This is a full-time role requiring EST hours. Fintech experience is preferred. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for turning vague or incomplete business requests into clear requirements, user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog items, and delivery plans. You will also own backlog refinement and prioritization based on business value, urgency, risk, dependencies, and engineering effort. Additionally, you will plan and coordinate sprints and releases while managing scope, blockers, risks, dependencies, and changing requirements. You will work closely with the CTO, engineers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve product and technical tradeoffs, make practical decisions, and keep key changes documented. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need strong software Project Management experience with hands-on Product Management or Business Analysis skills, including requirements discovery, prioritization, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlogs, sprints, dependencies, and releases. You should be able to turn vague business ideas into clear requirements, user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and executable plans using Figma, Balsamiq, Miro, FigJam, Whimsical, or similar. You should be comfortable working directly with CTOs and engineers, discussing technical constraints, challenging assumptions, and making product decisions in a fast-changing early-stage environment. Strong written and spoken English is also essential, as is a stable employment history, typically 2-3+ years per company, or credible explanations for shorter engagements. Fintech, payments, banking, B2B SaaS, financial operations, or other regulated-industry experience is strongly preferred. WHY REMOTE This role is designed to be remote, with EST hours. As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while still being an integral part of our team. BENEFITS Our company offers a competitive salary, as well as a range of benefits, including health insurance, parental leave, and education stipend.
