ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Product Manager, Internationalization at Klaviyo, you will be a key player in driving the company's international growth strategy. You will be responsible for launching and scaling Klaviyo's platform into new geographic markets and languages, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver international billing solutions and define localization-as-a-service frameworks. This is a hybrid role that requires a unique blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Product Manager, Internationalization, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the end-to-end strategy and execution for launching and scaling Klaviyo's platform into new geographic markets and languages
- Working across finance and billing teams to deliver international billing solutions from multiple currencies to new methods of payment
- Defining and implementing localization-as-a-service frameworks to empower product teams across Klaviyo to easily ship features tailored for new international markets
- Driving the international growth strategy for a large and complex product area, defining success by key expansion metrics, and prioritizing the most significant opportunities in line with company goals
- Partnering with engineering, design, and analytics teams to set vision, build a roadmap, and deliver against goals while clearing blockers and strengthening team health
- Leading with technical proficiency and adapting strategy as you learn, knowing when to start, scale, or stop investments
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years in tech, including 5+ in product management with a proven track record of delivering high-impact products, specifically in international expansion or growth-focused product areas
- Demonstrated experience in a P&L-responsible product role, with a strong understanding of international business models, pricing, and growth loops
- Familiarity with digital marketing, commerce, or subscription business models in global markets, and experience navigating regulatory compliance related to international data and financial transactions
- Strong technical intuition, customer empathy, and data-informed decision-making
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders
- Fluency in a non-English language relevant to a key Klaviyo expansion market is a strong advantage
