Anthropic
Product Manager, Business Technology
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Anthropic is building safe, interpretable, and steerable AI systems that benefit users and society. As a Product Manager for Business Technology you will shape the internal tools that enable our teams to work with Claude, our flagship large language model. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for a suite of internal products and automations that cut friction for legal, IT, GTM, finance, and security teams. Your work will directly influence how quickly and safely Anthropic’s internal stakeholders can adopt and leverage Claude, driving measurable business outcomes across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will define and prioritize a product backlog that aligns with the highest impact needs of internal customers, translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for engineering. You will partner with cross‑functional leaders to develop adoption roadmaps, set success metrics, and orchestrate rollout, training, and support plans that ensure high uptake and sustained usage. You will monitor product performance, analyze adoption data, and iterate on features to continuously improve value and eliminate waste. You will collaborate closely with IT, security, legal, and finance to guarantee that all internal Claude deployments comply with data handling, governance, and security policies. You will stay current on Claude capabilities, advocating for new features that unlock additional efficiencies for internal teams. Finally, you will lead change management initiatives, ensuring that new tools are embraced and that underperforming products are refined or retired.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You bring deep product management experience, having owned products used by internal teams and delivered measurable changes to how those teams operate. You have a proven track record of partnering with engineering, IT, and security to ship secure, maintainable solutions. You communicate complex trade‑offs clearly to executives and translate requirements into precise engineering tasks. You thrive in ambiguous environments, setting priorities across competing requests and driving consensus. Experience building with large language models or agent tooling is a plus, as is familiarity with internal IT or business system products. Knowledge of security and data‑handling practices for internal systems, and experience leading organization‑wide change management, will strengthen your candidacy.
WHY REMOTE
Anthropic embraces a distributed, asynchronous culture that empowers teams to work when they are most productive. Remote work allows you to collaborate with colleagues across time zones without the constraints of a fixed office schedule. You will have the flexibility to balance personal and professional commitments while contributing to a mission‑driven organization that values impact over location. Our remote‑first approach is supported by robust virtual collaboration tools, regular virtual town halls, and a culture of trust and transparency.
BENEFITS
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary in the $305,000–$385,000 range, along with performance‑based incentives. Health, dental, and vision coverage are provided for employees and dependents. You receive generous paid time off, a flexible vacation policy, and a remote work stipend to support your home office setup. A learning budget and access to industry conferences, courses, and certifications are available to help you grow your skills. Anthropic also provides a comprehensive benefits suite that covers mental health support, wellness programs, and a supportive community of peers committed to building safe AI.
