ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Recruiter to join our Core Recruiting team within People Success at Coinbase. As a Principal Recruiter, you will own full-lifecycle recruiting for some of our hardest-to-fill roles, partnering directly with senior leaders to deeply understand their talent needs, build strong pipelines, and drive process improvements that help the recruiting team scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Principal Recruiter, your key responsibilities will include: - Owning the full recruitment lifecycle from role intake through close for complex, senior-level searches across your Core portfolio - Building candidate pipelines through self-sourcing and competitive research, ensuring sufficient depth and quality at each stage to maintain hiring velocity - Partnering with senior leaders across your client groups to translate hiring needs into effective search strategies and a strong candidate and interviewer experience - Driving data integrity and using pipeline analytics to inform hiring efficiency, surface bottlenecks, and improve outcomes for your hiring teams - Designing and implementing recruiting processes and pilot programs that help the team scale its impact across global markets WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a technology company or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment, with demonstrated success closing senior and hard-to-attract candidates - Experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets - Deep knowledge across the entire candidate lifecycle, from talent mapping and sourcing through interviewing and closing - A data-driven approach to pipeline management with the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations for stakeholders - The ability to utilize generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality WHY REMOTE Coinbase is a remote-first company, but not remote-only. Expect to get together quarterly for intense in-person working sessions called “surges.” BENEFITS Coinbase offers a competitive annual base salary range of $166,345 - $195,700 USD, excluding equity and bonus. Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
