Principal Program Manager, Go-To-Market

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Program Manager, Go-To-Market to join our team at GitLab. As a key member of our Product & Technical Marketing organization, you will be responsible for driving go-to-market execution for our high-stakes minor and major launches. You will be the strategic and hands-on architect behind our launch operating model, incorporating AI agents at its core to ensure customers discover, adopt, and experience GitLab with precision. WHAT YOU'LL DO As Principal Program Manager, Go-To-Market, you will own two equal pillars of go-to-market execution. First, you will oversee the strategic and hands-on planning, execution, and delivery of our minor and major launches. You will redesign our launch operating model to incorporate AI agents, ensuring seamless customer experiences. Second, you will run program management on key initiatives that span Product Management and Product Design through Growth Marketing, Comms, and Social, and Field Enablement, wherever those motions depend on Product & Technical Marketing. You will be AI-first by default, converting manual steps into team-wide AI workflows by shipping automations or partnering with the AI Transformation Owner. You will drive solutions with stakeholders, design decision stages, and redesign stages and workflows when necessary. You will create clarity in ambiguity, framing problems, presenting options, and optimizing for decision velocity. In your first year, you will institutionalize a dual operating system: a scalable launch framework for 15+ minor and major launches per year, and a portfolio program practice that maps dependencies from Product and Design through Product & Technical Marketing into Growth, Comms, and Field. You will ship production agent workflows that cut manual coordination, establish benchmarks for quality, and make go-to-market program management achieve relevance in the AI era.
