ABOUT THE ROLE Calendly is seeking a seasoned Principal Product Marketing Manager to play a highly strategic and influential role in shaping the company's product narrative, influencing prioritization, and driving alignment across the organization. This individual contributor position offers high ownership, visibility, and strategic impact, requiring a seasoned product marketer who can develop a clear point of view, pressure-test it with leaders, and take ownership of driving alignment. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Principal Product Marketing Manager, you will lead through influence and partnership, working closely with Product and Marketing Leadership, as well as Research and Product teams to shape the product narrative early, influence prioritization, and ensure what we ship is positioned to win. Your responsibilities will include: Leading product strategy influence by shaping product direction with Product Leadership, defining positioning and narrative early for new products, and creating alignment through strategy artifacts. Owning high-impact GTM by leading go-to-market for major product bets, from planning to launch, adoption, and iteration, and partnering with Growth and Product to improve discovery and adoption through testing, iteration, and performance reviews. Driving cross-functional and executive alignment by serving as a senior cross-functional leader across Product, Brand, Support, Research, Customer Success, and Growth, and taking ownership of shared success metrics. Improving product marketing excellence by revisiting and iterating on reusable frameworks and templates, mentoring other PMMs, and ensuring a high bar for storytelling. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: 12+ years of product marketing experience in SaaS (PLG or hybrid GTM preferred), with a track record of leading major launches and driving strategic growth. A proven ability to develop a clear point of view, pressure-test it with leaders, and take ownership of driving alignment. Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and executive communication skills. Experience leading through influence and partnership, working closely with Product and Marketing Leadership, as well as Research and Product teams.
