Principal Presales Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Presales Engineer to join our team at Twilio. As a Principal Presales Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of communications by delivering innovative solutions to hundreds of thousands of businesses and empowering millions of developers worldwide. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Principal Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for leading pre-sales activities, including developing and delivering technical presentations, demos, and proofs of concept to customers and prospects. You will also be expected to collaborate with our sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to provide technical guidance and support to customers throughout the sales cycle. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of sales strategies, and will be involved in the creation and maintenance of sales-related content, such as case studies and whitepapers. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background, with a deep understanding of cloud communications and software development. You will also need to have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, and a master's degree is preferred. You will also need to have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a presales engineering role, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers.
