Principal Presales Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Principal Presales Engineer to join our team at Twilio. As a key member of our presales organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of communications by delivering innovative solutions to hundreds of thousands of businesses and empowering millions of developers worldwide. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Principal Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex sales engagements, developing and delivering technical presentations, and providing expert-level technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with our sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies, and collaborate with product teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements and product capabilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping customers understand the value of Twilio's solutions and driving business growth through successful sales engagements. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background, with a deep understanding of cloud communications, APIs, and software development. You should have a proven track record of success in presales engineering, with experience leading complex sales engagements and developing and delivering technical presentations. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, and a master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
