Portfolio Pricing Strategist

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Pricing Strategy expert to join Stripe's Product Marketing organization. As a key member of the Pricing Strategy team, you will play a critical role in shaping how Stripe packages and prices its suite of products. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of financial infrastructure for businesses and have a direct impact on the global economy. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will develop the frameworks, methodologies, and strategic recommendations that govern how Stripe products are priced and packaged together commercially. You will work horizontally across our product portfolio, synthesizing the value of the Stripe product portfolio through qualitative research, competitive benchmarking, and willingness-to-pay analysis. Your work will also involve building financial models to evaluate the impact of pricing changes on revenue, margin, and user behavior. You will drive alignment across Finance, Legal, Product, and Go-to-Market stakeholders on pricing architecture decisions and bring them to execution. Additionally, you will develop and maintain internal pricing enablement resources that help the broader pricing organization operate more effectively. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in pricing strategy, product marketing, or a related field. You should have 5-7 years of relevant experience in an operational role or in a management consultancy, ideally delivering pricing, go-to-market, or product recommendations. You should also have experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research on product needs and value perceptions, as well as market research and competitive benchmarking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will need to work proactively with functions across the company.
