ABOUT THE ROLE As the Store Manager at Platypus Shoes Mt Barker, you will lead a team of passionate casual team members alongside your Assistant Store Manager. Your primary mission is to drive sales and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), coach and inspire your team, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Store Manager, your key responsibilities will include: - Driving the overall performance of your store by achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. - Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer service. - Monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly sales, celebrating wins and identifying areas for improvement. - Managing rosters and wage costs in line with company targets and operational needs. - Coaching and developing team members, ensuring ongoing training, high morale, and strong succession planning. - Overseeing stock levels, store presentation, and operational excellence. - Ensuring adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards and legislation. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment. - Strong leadership qualities with a results-focused and proactive mindset. - Excellent communication and team development skills. - Demonstrated ability to drive sales and manage store performance. - Experience with stock management, operations, and visual merchandising. - Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
