ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join Coinbase's Litigation team, providing advanced paralegal support across U.S. Consumer Litigation, International Litigation, and Commercial Litigation. As a remote team member, you will be responsible for managing critical case management workflows, keeping deadlines airtight, and building better processes to help the team scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will own matter tracking and case file management across a high-volume docket spanning multiple jurisdictions, ensuring all records are accurate and current. You will also execute discovery and trial preparation tasks, including document production, deposition coordination, and exhibit management. Additionally, you will build improved processes and tooling to reduce manual effort and support the Litigation team's growing caseload. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing case dockets of 50+ matters across multiple jurisdictions - Handling discovery workflows end-to-end, including e-discovery platforms, document review, and production - Building or improving operational processes to reduce manual effort or increase accuracy for legal teams - Responding to third-party legal requests such as subpoenas, summons, levies, and garnishments - Handling small claims court matters, including drafting filings and coordinating court appearances - Partnering with outside counsel and government agencies on case logistics, document exchanges, and scheduling WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 6+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, including direct experience managing case dockets of 50+ matters across multiple jurisdictions - Demonstrated ability to handle discovery workflows end-to-end, including e-discovery platforms, document review, and production - Track record of building or improving operational processes that reduced manual effort or increased accuracy for legal teams - Experience responding to third-party legal requests such as subpoenas, summons, levies, and garnishments - Familiarity with litigation involving financial services, cryptocurrency, or technology companies - Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality - Experience handling small claims court matters, including drafting filings and coordinating court appearances WHY REMOTE Coinbase is a remote-first company, with quarterly in-person working sessions called "surges" to bring the team together. This role requires a high level of autonomy and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. BENEFITS Coinbase offers a competitive annual base salary range of $105,000 - $123,600 USD, as well as equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
