Overnight Clothing Outfitter

ABOUT THE ROLE The Overnight Clothing Outfitter supports the retail operations team by handling non‑selling tasks so that Sales Outfitters can concentrate on customer service and sales. This role reports to the Retail Manager – Operations and operates during overnight shifts. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will replenish all merchandise areas, including fishing, hunting, camping, marine/water sports, apparel, footwear, hunt clothing, and gifts. You will collaborate with the Inventory Control team to perform on‑demand counts, empty peg scans, and ensure display integrity. Your responsibilities include executing temporary and permanent price changes, tagging, signage, and inventory adjustments. You will recover items across departments by folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, and re‑hanging. Visual merchandising duties involve fixture replacement, signage updates, end‑cap updates, floor moves, mannequin dressing, and preparing merchandise for advertisements. You will maintain planograms in all hardline departments and support OMNI fulfillment during peak periods. Exceptional customer service is expected at all times, and you may be asked to perform additional tasks as needed. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A minimum of one year’s experience in a sales or service environment is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with planograms and visual merchandising is advantageous. You must be able to identify and replenish out‑of‑stock or low‑stock items, work overnight shifts, and provide superior customer service. Good judgment, logical thinking, and experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle are required. Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's products is an asset.
