ABOUT THE ROLE The Operator plays a crucial role in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable services to customers by operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring and controlling processes, and assisting with equipment maintenance and preparation. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment, including separators, choke manifolds, tanks, and flow lines. You will also monitor and control pressure, temperature, and flow rates, as well as tank levels and production volumes. Additionally, you will perform tasks such as tank gauging and basic production/flow calculations, support rig-up/rig-down and equipment maintenance, and assist field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background, with a vocational or craft diploma/certificate and a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, preferably on offshore rigs or in deepwater environments. You must also be a CARICOM national with valid technical qualifications and a valid CSME certification or be eligible to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and good problem-solving abilities, proactive attitude, and organizational and time management skills are also essential.
