Open Source Community Advocate

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a customer-focused, technical Open Source Community Advocate to join our growing global team at Metabase. As a key member of our Success Engineering team, you will play a vital role in helping our customers achieve success by guiding them on how to get data from various sources, transform it, and convert their questions into executable queries. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Open Source Community Advocate, you will be responsible for building relationships with our customers in public forums, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, and data Slack communities. You will provide help and support to Metabase users using our open source and for-fee products, leveraging our discourse forum as a primary resource for customers. Your tasks will include answering user queries, collaborating with our writing team, and participating in brainstorming sessions to create content for our customers. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for data analytics, enjoy helping others, and be excited to work in a startup environment. You should be comfortable working in a remote setting, with flexible hours, and be able to communicate effectively with customers through various channels.
