ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a compassionate and engaging babysitter to join our team at Jovie Nannies + Sitters. As a babysitter, you will provide care for children of toddler to elementary school age in their homes, while their parents work. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a babysitter with Jovie Nannies + Sitters, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children in their homes. Your duties will include engaging in activities such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play, as well as providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on the children's age-appropriate development. You will also be responsible for common sense clean-up of your activities and meals with the child. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have: - At least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience - Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to commute to assignments - Availability to work at least two days per week, with 6-9 hour shifts between 7am-7pm - Ability to lift 35 pounds safely and perform regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing - Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with parents and coworkers - Ability to provide references, including 2 related to working with children and 1 character reference - Age 18 or older WHY REMOTE As a babysitter with Jovie Nannies + Sitters, you will have the flexibility to work in the comfort of your own vehicle, traveling to assignments in Fall City. You will not be required to drive or transport children.
