Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE TWI Foods Inc. is a leading producer of high‑quality, sustainably sourced food products that reach markets across North America. As a millwright, you will work closely with production engineers, maintenance supervisors, and safety teams to ensure that all mechanical and electrical systems operate at peak performance, supporting the company’s commitment to consistent product quality and zero downtime. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment used in food processing and packaging. - Perform preventive maintenance schedules, including lubrication, alignment, and calibration of critical machinery. - Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals to guide repairs and upgrades. - Collaborate with production operators to identify and resolve equipment issues that impact throughput and product quality. - Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and downtime in the plant’s CMMS system. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting modifications that enhance efficiency and safety. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a strong advantage. - Hands‑on experience with industrial machinery, preferably in a food or food‑processing environment, is highly desirable. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. - Strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems. - Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to preventing equipment failures. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and to document work clearly.
