Meat Department Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE The Meat Department Manager is responsible for leading the Meat Department team and driving sales while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and operational efficiency. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Meat Department Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Receiving and processing merchandise, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate paperwork and documentation. Maintaining a visually appealing sales floor by stocking, rotating, and merchandising products, as well as removing damaged or outdated goods. Recruiting, training, and developing Meat Associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, promoting products, and making purchase decisions. Planning and executing the Meat Store Within A Store (SWAS) program, including attending meetings, reviewing reports, and ensuring in-stock and inventory levels. Managing claims and returns, securing merchandise, and maintaining a safe work environment. Completing and maintaining required paperwork, including inventory tracking reports, throwaway records, invoices, and assignment notes. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum age of 16 Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed WHY REMOTE This role is based in a retail environment, but with a focus on customer service and sales growth, it is well-suited for a remote or flexible work arrangement. BENEFITS The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.50 per hour.
