Major Account Executive, Germany

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Major Account Executive at GitLab, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our largest and most strategic customers in Germany, helping them to get the most value from our AI-powered DevSecOps platform. This is a unique opportunity to build a strategic, long-term partnership with your customers and drive successful adoption and expansion of GitLab. WHAT YOU'LL DO Your primary responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end sales process, leveraging solution selling expertise to respond efficiently to customer needs, and identifying business potential to build a long-term partnership with your customers. You will also be responsible for conducting sales activities, including prospecting and developing opportunities in major accounts, and ensuring the successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products. Additionally, you will be expected to communicate lessons learned to the team, including account managers, the marketing team, and the technical team. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience selling into highly complex organizations and a proven track record of consistent results and overachievement of quota. You will also need excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to C-Level executives. A deep understanding of Git, software development tools, and application lifecycle management is also essential. You will be expected to share GitLab's values and work in accordance with those values.
