ABOUT THE ROLE The Manhattan Grand Hotel is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our guests, staff, and property. In this role you will be the first line of defense against theft, fraud, and safety incidents, ensuring that every guest experience is secure and seamless. You will work closely with the front‑desk, housekeeping, and security teams to develop and enforce robust protocols that align with hotel policy and local regulations. Your proactive approach will help maintain the hotel’s reputation for excellence and trust. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will conduct regular patrols of all public and restricted areas, monitoring for suspicious activity and responding swiftly to incidents. You will investigate theft or loss reports, gather evidence, and collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. You will maintain detailed logs and produce daily security reports for senior management. You will train and mentor front‑desk and housekeeping staff on loss prevention best practices. You will review and update security procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and hotel policies. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You have at least three years of experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field, preferably within hospitality or a high‑traffic environment. You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risk and implement effective countermeasures.
