ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead the development of the canvas-based galaxy map, the primary interface for our flagship product, Legacy of the Horizon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing this critical component, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and develop the canvas-based galaxy map, leveraging your expertise in canvas or WebGL. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement the map's features and functionality. - Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient codebase. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during development and deployment. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our engineering practices. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 5+ years of experience in developing canvas or WebGL applications. - Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Proficiency in modern web development frameworks and tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
