Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security to join our global sales engineering specialist team at Fivetran. As a Sales Engineering Specialist focused on Security, you will play a critical role in satisfying customers' security needs by providing timely responses to security questionnaires, engaging in customer-facing infosec calls, and collaborating with our internal SRE and Product teams focused on ensuring Fivetran's platform security. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security, you will support our sales and field sales engineering teams with deep technical knowledge and understanding of Fivetran's internal security operations, related platform features, and the security domain. Your responsibilities will include delivering timely and accurate responses to prospect and customer security questionnaires utilizing internal tooling, engaging in customer-facing infosec calls, and collaborating with our internal SRE and Product teams to ensure Fivetran's platform security. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of the following technologies: - Fivetran's data integration platform, deployment methods, and security features - Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform - Security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data loss prevention systems, and encryption - Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, and familiarity with hybrid and self-hosted deployment models - Security and Data Privacy Compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST and GDPR WHY REMOTE This is a full-time remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world.
