Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security

As a Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of Fivetran's platform, while also supporting the sales and field sales engineering teams with deep technical knowledge and expertise. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security, your primary responsibilities will include: - Supporting sales and field sales engineering teams with technical knowledge and understanding of Fivetran's internal security operations, related platform features, and the security domain. - Delivering timely and accurate responses to prospect and customer security questionnaires utilizing internal tooling. - Collaborating with internal SRE and Product teams to ensure Fivetran's platform security meets the highest standards. - Engaging in customer-facing infosec calls to address security concerns and provide expert guidance. - Providing technical input to sales teams to help close deals and ensure customer satisfaction. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - A strong understanding of Fivetran's data integration platform, deployment methods, and security features. - Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. - Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data loss prevention systems, and encryption. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, and hybrid and self-hosted deployment models. - Expertise in security and data privacy compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR.
