ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Lead Insurance Pricing Analyst to contribute to the growth and development of Monzo's insurance offerings. This role will play a key part in shaping the pricing strategy for our insurance products, ensuring they are competitive, profitable, and meet the needs of our customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Lead Insurance Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a clear view of our pricing performance, analysing data to identify opportunities for improvement, and working closely with our insurer and data science teams to turn data into actionable recommendations. You will also be responsible for building and refining pricing segments, rating factors, and tiering to improve decision quality, as well as working with our insurer to evaluate pricing opportunities and assumptions.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in insurance pricing, risk modelling, or data science, ideally in the UK Home or another personal lines product. You should be highly analytical and hands-on with data, comfortable running pricing experiments, and using conversion, loss ratio, and risk data to drive actionable decisions. You should also have a solid grounding in SQL and experience with data analysis tools such as Python, Jupyter, Looker, or similar.
WHY REMOTE
This role will be based out of Monzo's London office next to Liverpool Street station, with a hybrid working arrangement between the office and home. You will be trusted to work flexible hours and at times that suit you and your team.
