ABOUT THE ROLE Wood is a global leader in consulting, engineering and operations for the energy and materials sectors, supporting clients across the full asset lifecycle. As a Laborer in our Energy & Materials pillar, you will play a vital role in ensuring that on‑site teams have the resources, equipment and support they need to deliver safe, predictable outcomes and drive resilient operations. Your work will directly contribute to projects that enable a lower carbon future and help our clients navigate complex regulatory and environmental challenges. You will operate within a distributed, asynchronous culture that values flexibility and collaboration. While you will spend time on site, many of your responsibilities—including inventory management, safety documentation, and coordination with project managers—can be performed remotely. This hybrid model allows you to balance hands‑on field work with the convenience and focus of a home office, ensuring you can deliver high‑quality results without the constraints of a fixed schedule. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will support construction, maintenance and refurbishment activities across a variety of energy and materials projects, ensuring that all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. You will assist with the setup and teardown of equipment, the movement of materials, and the maintenance of site cleanliness and organization. You will gather and record data on work progress, material usage and safety incidents, and prepare reports for project stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers and safety officers to identify and resolve logistical challenges.
