ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities. This is a permanent full-time position, requiring a 40- to 44-hour workweek. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Kitchen Helper, your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils, loading and operating dishwashers, washing and storing dishes, and preparing simple food items. You will also be responsible for receiving and storing supplies, removing kitchen garbage and trash, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen floors. Additionally, you will assist with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 7 months of previous experience in a similar position. You must be fluent in English and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
