ABOUT THE ROLE Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing, Inc. (JASM) is a subsidiary established in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, and a majority shareholder of TSMC. JASM is TSMC's first manufacturing facility in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, established to meet the strong global demand for semiconductors. As a key player in the semiconductor industry, JASM supports customers with the highest standard of specialty semiconductor technologies, promoting innovation in various Japanese industrial sectors, including automotive and image sensors.
