Insights Manager II

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a highly skilled Insights Manager II to join our Retail Insights team at Instacart. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and strategic decision-making for our key grocery retail partners. You will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights, developing business cases, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive commercial impact. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will: - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our retail partners' businesses, including their operational, customer, and macro trends - Analyze complex data sets to identify key insights and trends, and communicate these findings to senior stakeholders - Partner with Business Development to craft business cases and quarterly business reviews that drive commercial impact - Develop and maintain internal tools, frameworks, and narratives to help stakeholders move from raw data to clear direction - Serve as a subject matter expert on macro business, operational, and customer trends across our set of retailers WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 3+ years of experience in a quantitative business strategy role, such as consulting, banking, analytics, or similar - Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools - Strong analytical reasoning and ability to work through ambiguous problems step by step - Polished communication skills and proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, both internal and external - A self-starter orientation and ability to identify and drive toward solutions WHY REMOTE At Instacart, we're a Flex First team, which means we offer the flexibility to choose where you do your best work.
