Inside Account Executive (Hunter)

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Hunter Inside Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Elastic, a Search AI Company, by selling, managing, and growing net new accounts within our Commercial segment. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in fast-growing segments, are self-starters, and have a passion for building new business. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Hunter Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and building a territory plan for approximately 500 accounts, focusing entirely on whitespace accounts. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing a strategic prospecting strategy to gain introductions, solve business challenges, and effectively position Elastic's technology - Identifying and qualifying new opportunities through creativity, inbound lead flow, personal prospecting efforts, contacts, existing accounts, and partners - Working cross-functionally with sales development, marketing, partner, product, and customer service teams to deliver outstanding results - Negotiating pricing and contractual terms to close sales - Accurately forecasting profitable and predictable territory performance and required resources through adherence to Elastic's sales process WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - 2+ years of experience in sales roles, specifically in hunting or creating new accounts - Strong ability to plan and execute strategies related to driving pipeline in whitespace accounts - Collaborative and inventive approach to problem-solving - Ability to operate and thrive in an ambitious, self-starting environment - Technological aptitude and business acumen with outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills WHY REMOTE As a distributed company, Elastic values diversity and offers a flexible work environment that allows you to work from anywhere.
