As an In‑Store Visual Merchandiser you will be the creative force that brings the Rebel brand to life, orchestrating striking displays that drive footfall, boost conversion and reinforce our position as Australia’s leading sports retailer. Your work will shape the visual narrative across a high‑traffic store, collaborating with a dynamic team of 80+ associates and a leadership group of five to deliver a cohesive, engaging shopping environment that reflects our bold, performance‑driven ethos.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will design and implement large‑format visual merchandising concepts that align with corporate campaigns and local market trends, ensuring each display is fresh, compelling and on‑brand. You will conduct regular store walkthroughs, providing real‑time coaching to associates on product placement, colour coordination and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with the Store Manager, regional Visual Merchandising leads and marketing partners to translate strategic objectives into tangible in‑store experiences, using data and customer insights to refine layouts and optimise sales performance. You will manage the visual merchandising calendar, coordinating the rollout of seasonal themes, promotional activations and new product launches while maintaining meticulous inventory control and visual compliance.

You bring at least five years of visual merchandising experience in a high‑volume apparel environment, with a proven track record of creating impactful displays that drive revenue. You possess strong creative vision, an eye for detail and a passion for sports culture that translates into authentic, trend‑setting designs. You are a natural leader, comfortable training and motivating a diverse team, and you communicate clearly across all levels of the organization. You are proficient with visual merchandising software, layout tools and basic design principles, and you thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting. You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in visual merchandising, retail design or a related field, and you are fluent in English.
