ABOUT THE ROLE Hovis is a heritage brand with more than 130 years of baking experience. The company produces bread and bakery items, including its flagship Hovis line, Mothers Pride and Ormo products, delivering around 1.3 million loaves each day across the UK and Ireland. The organization employs 2,800 people spread across eight bakeries, one flour mill, and two regional distribution centres. The role is based remotely but supports the central functions team located in High Wycombe, working alongside specialists in baking, manufacturing, logistics, engineering and other support functions. WHAT YOU’LL DO You will contribute to the smooth operation of the central functions team, collaborating with cross‑functional partners to support the production, distribution and business processes that keep the brand running. Your responsibilities will include managing data and documentation, coordinating projects, and ensuring that all activities meet the company’s high standards for quality and compliance. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, helping to identify efficiencies and implement best practices across the organization. WHAT YOU’LL NEED A strong background in business support or a related field, with experience in data management, project coordination or process improvement. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential. You should be comfortable using standard office software and be able to adapt quickly to new tools and systems. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are key to success in this role.
