ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our Housekeeping Team at Mantra Charles in Launceston, Tasmania. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing prompt and efficient assistance to our room and public area attendants. WHAT YOU'LL DO Your primary responsibilities will include prioritizing and fulfilling guest requests, collaborating with the housekeeping team to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, gathering used linens from guest rooms, and assisting with cleaning guest rooms and public area spaces as needed. You will also be responsible for handling chemicals and cleaning materials safely, respecting guest privacy and security, and promptly reporting maintenance issues. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and an eye for detail. You will also need to be physically fit, able to navigate the property, and willing to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays. Reliable transportation is also essential.
