ABOUT THE ROLE The Holly Can Fix It role at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, is a unique opportunity to join a world-class team of individuals who strive to create exceptional experiences for guests, residents, and partners. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining the resort's equipment and facilities, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for all. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Holly Can Fix It, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of Engineering Management. This will include: - Keeping all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime - Ensuring a complete understanding of and adhering to the company's fire and safety procedures - Continuously supporting and improving engineering services to address problems affecting guests and associates - Training and instructing other members of the staff to develop their skills and advance their careers - Analyzing problems and formulating plans to complete work quickly with a high degree of quality - Completing work orders and responding to guest calls unsupervised - Maintaining a basic knowledge of the hotel TV system and troubleshooting electrical problems - Communicating with Supervisors to ensure that all materials, tools, and supplies are available or on order - Performing minor plumbing repairs and maintenance, basic repairs to chilled water fan coil units, and other tasks as required WHAT YOU'LL NEED - A strong understanding of engineering principles and practices - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and training skills - Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems - Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials WHY REMOTE This role is based at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, located in the Bahamas.
