ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking passionate educators to join our community of online tutors at Super Sheldon. As a tutor, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of education by connecting with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. Our interactive online platform allows you to teach a range of subjects, including English, Math, Science, Coding, Chess, and Languages. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an online tutor, your primary responsibilities will include delivering engaging live 1:1 lessons tailored to each student's pace and learning style. You'll break down complex concepts into clear, relatable explanations and prepare students for relevant exams and assessments. Additionally, you'll track progress, assign targeted practice, and provide detailed, constructive feedback. You'll also partner with parents through regular progress check-ins and readiness updates. To stay current, you'll participate in our training and curriculum development programs. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's or Master's degree relevant to your subject area (English/Literature, Math/Science, Computer Science, Modern Languages, or equivalent). Strong English communication skills are essential, including the ability to simplify complex concepts. You'll also require subject-matter expertise and exam-level or age-appropriate teaching ability. A reliable tech setup, including a laptop/desktop with camera, mic, and stable internet (≥10 Mbps), is necessary.
