Head of Business Operations

ABOUT THE ROLE Klaviyo is seeking a seasoned Head of Business Operations to drive the company's growth and scale. As a strategic leader, you will own the operating architecture that enables Klaviyo to execute its strategy effectively. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with a strong background in business operations, strategic planning, and change management to join our team and make a significant impact. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Head of Business Operations, you will be responsible for leading the company-wide operating planning process, aligning the leadership team on top company priorities, and ensuring that every Klaviyo understands how their work contributes to the company's goals. You will also own the company-wide OKR process, define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) across functions, and drive automation of KPIs and OKR results using AI tools. Additionally, you will design and run the operating cadences for the Co-CEOs and senior leadership team, support the preparation of Board meeting materials, and keep Board members informed and engaged between meetings. You will also be responsible for championing AI adoption and modeling extreme ownership at the operational level. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need 12+ years of experience in business operations, strategic operations, or Chief of Staff roles at high-growth technology companies. You should have a proven track record of building and running a company-wide operating system, leading through major organizational inflection points, and working directly with and influencing CEOs and senior leadership teams. You should also have experience building and leading high-performing teams, a developer of people, not just a driver of output. Financial management skills and experience with OKRs, planning, and performance management are also essential.
