Stripe
Hardware Program Manager, Terminal Logistics
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Stripe is building the world’s most seamless payment infrastructure, and our Terminal Logistics team is the backbone that brings physical hardware into the hands of merchants worldwide. As a Hardware Program Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end supply chain for our Terminal business, turning complex vendor relationships and logistics challenges into a frictionless customer experience. You will work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, legal, finance, and senior partner executives to design, implement, and continuously improve the processes that move hardware from suppliers to users and back again. Your work will directly impact the speed, reliability, and cost of delivering Stripe’s physical terminals, enabling merchants to accept payments faster and more reliably than ever before.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will manage day‑to‑day relationships with hardware vendors, establishing performance metrics and driving continuous improvement. You will define and oversee the complete logistics flow, from order management to reverse logistics, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery for all customers. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering to roadmap automation initiatives that streamline ordering and return processes. You will lead large‑scale cross‑functional projects, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are aligned with business goals. You will develop and monitor key support indicators, producing reports that inform strategy and highlight opportunities for quality enhancements. Finally, you will identify system gaps, coordinate remediation efforts across Stripe teams, and champion a culture of data‑driven decision making to elevate the overall user experience.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You bring at least three years of experience in supply chain, logistics, vendor management, or large‑scale project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex operational initiatives. You thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and can craft rapid, strategic solutions to high‑intensity problems. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the empathy to translate user pain points into actionable improvements. Your analytical mindset drives data‑based decisions, and you are comfortable navigating through uncertainty while maintaining a meticulous eye for detail. You understand how to scale exceptional user support and design processes that evolve with growth. Your ability to execute across multiple stakeholders and influence without authority is essential to success in this role.
WHY REMOTE
Stripe embraces a distributed, asynchronous culture that empowers teams to work from anywhere while maintaining high productivity and collaboration. Remote employees benefit from flexible schedules that accommodate diverse time zones, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments without sacrificing performance. Our remote-first approach provides the tools and resources needed for seamless communication, ensuring you can partner effectively with colleagues and vendors across the globe.
BENEFITS
Stripe offers comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, a competitive paid time off policy, a generous remote work stipend, and a learning budget for professional development. You will also receive a competitive salary, equity participation, and access to wellness programs designed to support your physical and mental well‑being.
