ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and versatile Handyperson to join our team at BreakFree Aanuka Beach Resort. As the master of all trades, you will be responsible for ensuring the property remains in impeccable condition by taking charge of maintenance, repairs, and improvements. This role requires a proactive and skilled individual who can spot issues before they escalate and employ their handy tools to address a diverse range of tasks. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Ensure all rooms, amenities, and communal spaces within the property are well-maintained and in excellent condition - Collaborate with a diverse team, requiring both a cooperative mindset and the ability to work independently - Encounter stimulating challenges that require innovative solutions - Execute maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance projects as required WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Comfortable in a physical role with a get-up-and-go attitude - Prior experience with practical skills in general building maintenance, including basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical - Great problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels - Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays WHY REMOTE This role is based at BreakFree Aanuka Beach Resort, a picturesque beachfront resort in Coffs Harbour, Australia.
